Meet Dr. Michael Christensen, DDS, MS
Dr. Mike's journey to becoming a pediatric dentist has been quite an adventure! Originally from Spanish Fork, Utah, he discovered his passion for dentistry early on. After completing his undergraduate degree at UVSC (now Utah Valley University), he pursued further education at Tulane University, where he earned a Master's Degree in Human Genetics.
His academic journey continued at the University of Southern California, where he attended Dental School and proudly supports his alma mater, the USC Trojans. During his time in dental school, Dr. Mike developed a strong interest in working with children, which led him to specialize in pediatric dentistry.
To deepen his expertise, he completed a General Practice residency at the Oklahoma University Children's Hospital, followed by a comprehensive two-year pediatric dental residency at the Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo in New York, graduating in 2014.
Professionally, Dr. Mike has worked in various locations, including Oklahoma, New York, and Idaho, before eventually returning to his roots in Utah. Currently, he practices at Adventure Dental, where he continues to pursue his passion for pediatric dentistry and enjoys connecting with families.
Outside of work, Dr. Mike treasures spending time with his wife and four children. He's also a sports enthusiast, both as a participant and a spectator, making time to play and watch games whenever possible. His dedication to both his professional and personal life underscores his commitment to community and family, making him a valued member of the dental profession in Utah.
